Friday. 1st October.
My class got a chance to anatomize frogs and it was AWESOME.surprisingly.

We didn't know how to cut the second layer of skin and so...TEACHER!!!

1st October. 6.30 p.m.. Went to grad night to carry out photog duties.

The theme was Glamour,Glitter,Glee.

Good job to the crew. The decos were just ridonculous!

Dang it was tiring!

Gotta say I really love my seat. So big and comfy my chair made of... CARPET. 0_0
Thanks to people recording the performances I literally crawled! It was embarrassing!

Church Of Praise,Ipoh has turned 25!

25th anniversary has kept me busier than beavers since JUNE!

Had two services in the morning

For this anniversary Sabrina was so desperate to girl me up. Well...more like SABRINA me up.

-She wanted us to dance ballet/contemporary

in order to save the congregation from choking on air out after laughing so hard, I rejected.

-me to wear ballet shoes

Well...all the dancers did. I didn't.

We had cute little ballerinas dancing to the song GLOW.

Pastor Nonon from our Philippines outreach was our guest speaker.

Because the make-up artist recommended
I had to wear fake eyelashes.
Only one mastermind plan of Sabrina's worked.

I wouldn't be wearing it again! Not even Sabrina.

The fake eyelashes is so heavy that every time I blink it drains out my energy and I have to keep on eating

From a 5-year-old who lies about taking an extra cookie from the cookie jar to a 15-year-old that decided to play with buds and blades.

No matter what, we will experience moments when we turn into the dark alley.

'friends forever'?

What I fear the most isn't some boogeyman appearing in front of my face or some white cloth that flew passed me.

My fear is

FOREVER

yes. I fear forever.

Is it hard to make forever come true?

Friends do mean alot to me but more importantly, QUALITY friendship.

Like I always say:

I'd rather be a loner than hanging out with people that don't make you feel good about yourself or not appreciating you.

If you know your friends are playing Judas with you, don't try to fit in.

STAND OUT.

I never really believed in forever when it comes to friendship.

Well...maybe I have never lived that long to experience an everlasting friendship.

Have you ever fear that time would cause a cavity in the bridge between you and your friend?

I have. I am.

and that's why I try to bring out the best of a friend in me.

The day the youth of Church of Praise takes charge!

Saturday

1 p.m.

Youths came to church to give the church a temporary makeover for youth Sunday!

CuttingEdgeYouth's theme this year was LOVE!

So it was all about appreciating our parents.

Similar to last year we covered the auditorium walls with black cloth but this time we stuck up posters to portray our love and thankfulness to our parents.

Mine was best of course :D

We also had to practice for our upcoming children's dance which will be performed for the church anniversary...
well...this was AFTER practice

I don't think I make a good flyer though...

Sunday.

Youths came at 8 in the morning.

Pastor Elijah came up with this crazy idea to make burgers for all the parents so...

Goal:500 burgers

Achieved:480 burgers (if I have not mistaken)

It was a very VERY tiring process...not for me though. The best place to be?

The atmosphere outside and inside the auditorium was just two different worlds.

We did a good job alright!

Then it came to the drinks where we have to

coke up the cups!

taste the coke?

and last of all EAT THE BURGERS!

I have a feeling we work WAY faster than any fast food outlet.

480 burgers in four hours. Just unbelievable.

BUT WE WORK TOGETHER!!!

10th of June

Went to Kuala Lumpur with Michelle.

Our only mission there was to conquer all our most desired food outlets!

In the train

As long as I could remember, this was the first time I sat on a monorail in kl

The experience was very pleasant

Just like the norm where everyone sits down and gets out at their destination

then all of a sudden

*glance*

What was she doing?

A GIRL WAS DANCING IN THE CARRIAGE

She was facing the door with earphones stuck in her ears and she started singing and dancing!

Michelle and I exchanged looks and started laughing....very silently.

Judging by the way she danced, most probably its Korean music.

First up we defeated Italianies!

Yes our eyes are sparkly

We've got diamonds in our eyes!

'let's go in!'

'No I'll bleep!!!'

You know the sensor almost every shop has?

You get them days where you go through it and you go

BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP BLEEEEEP!?!?!

I DID!

I got so fed up as I didn't dare to go into any shop.

Like...the security sensor bleeped me!!!

And the last thing I would wanna do in kl is shoplift.

Besides, I went there for food!

So we finally sat down and experiment!

Trial 1:Went in alone-no bleep

Trial 2:Went in with my bag without my handphone and wallet-no bleep

Trial 3: Waved my handphone between the sensors-no bleep

Trial 4: I slowly place my wallet between the sensors and BLEEPBLEEPBLEEPBLEEP!

So I checked my wallet.

Using as much of my holiday mode brain cells

Does this bleep?!?!

We took out cards that MAY bleep until I opened up a section of my wallet

A freaking bar code sticker!

With metallic squares!!!

Well...I don't really know what its called but

its bleepable alright!

I had no clue.

Then we headed to the cinema to watch Shrek 3 in 3D.

Very funny very creative.

I love puss in boots!

By night we gobbled up SHOGUN!

Yes, so happened a drop dead gorgeous girl came to LIFE.
yes my birthday is on 7th May!
Owhkay. blah!
Since wordy blogs isn't my cup of tea I shall try to make this post less wordy as possible.
So, my birthday went like that.

I came back from school.

I decided to eat dinner with friends.

I call my friends.

All my friends had tuition and blah.

I was superbly depressed.

I didn't want to go out for dinner.

But somehow Nicolas insisted a million times eventho I rejected a trillion times.

So we headed to Kenny Rogers.

Eventhough it was quite 'sadyfying' that I only went out with three people but I thought it's my birthday!

BLAH THE BLAH!

Somehow for some reason Nicolas said his mom would fetch him from my house and Pris and Dhana's mom would fetch them from HIS house.

Weird but I totally fell for it.

When they reached my house they kept pestering me to see my dog.

Like...why do you want to see an annoying chihuahua who's bark is like nails scratching against the blackboard?!

I went to the dining room and I saw

as blur as I can get I thought my mom just did a little something for me because

Nic Dhana and Pris gave me the

'Owh! Why are there candle lit doughnuts on the table?' look.

Of course I felt there was something fishy.

But Nic just kept on saying
'why your dog bark so loud wan aaah?!?!'

I went to the kitchen.On the lights.The first thing i spotted was

MICHELLE'S CONVERSE just behind my dog's cage.

I didn't recognise at first but I manage to put my finger on it after a very long stare.

Then I started to realise

RACHEL'S CROCS. (the tilted one in the picture)

then Joses' brown crocs and Vivien's purple crocs!

And the next thing I know, they all came out of the computer room and sang

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOOOO!!!

And I was like

and I still remained traumatized

I honestly didn't know what to feel.
I was inflamed
because they caused my depression
by making me buy their
I-can't-go-because-I-have-tuition excuses. GOSH.

YES my blog was in coma.
I can't decide if I should blog about Girl's Brigade camp 2010 since the previous post was a teaser.
And yea...I take very long to make decisions like this.
So...since inspiration didn't hit me,
here I present GB CAMP 2010!

It kinda was like every normal camp...

We had a chance to go down to the beach after station games.
Form fours...

We had devotion time

Drill.
I skipped drill :D thanks to worship practice.

Pesta ria was unbelievably FUN!

a massive leg ache

forking out 20+ bucks to buy ingredients

not getting a chance to play any games

paying 7 bucks for a 2 ringgit drink

running around school with a heavy bag

the terrible hot sun

the crowd

and

the short...nagging....nevermind.

I had great fun!

But I did have fun *sarcasm off*

because I only did 45 minutes out of my 2 hour shift

~~minus the cleaning up I had to go to at 3.~~

Mich and I decided to walk to Parade which was a 20 minute walk.

But when you walk with Michelle, it becomes a 10 minute walk + bigger possibilities of cars on a 4-lane main road rolling over your foot.

I was so tired of all the hyperventilating due to me screaming

'Meeeeeeesheeeaaaauu!!!! Dun cross!!!! AAAAHHH!!! The car so near!!!

I litterally sat down in parade for about 3 minutes and got everyone staring.

Headed to MC I.U. day.

It started at 8 but I couldn't miss church so I missed the first part of i.u.

OMG! I discovered that INTERACT is actually international act. BOOF. *who knew?!*

It realy takes alot of skill to do this. There's like oil all over his face. His face is SO close to getting burnt 0_0

They had this game where some guy had to propose to another girl (I don't know why this game even existed)

Thursday I got home from school and found out both my siblings got accepted to Singapore Polytechnic. Then the next thing I know

they.are.leaving.on.a.Sunday.night!

So we planned an outing/farewell fer my brother and sister.

Where?Hawker stalls.

OMG!

I discovered a GREAT discovery!

There's this dish which is called *banana talk* 'Hor Chien' *ithink*.

its like egg and oysters! Omg HEAVEN!!!

It doesn't look as good but

it.is.superb.

We don't literally learn about boys in chemistry.

Teacher was explaining to us what physical properties are.

The explanation wasn't much of a need though...but it was a good one.

'So if you see a very handsome guy come through that door, what are you gong to do?'

I never knew my class was so blablabla that they were like 'WOW!!!'

Honestly, I didn't know Perak has a Taman Herba!

I enjoyed myself there mainly because I had a camera with me :)

It was the day cutting edge youths of Church of Praise has been waiting for.

15 March.

The day where we had our annual camp.

Discovery camp.

The youths of City Revival Church came down all the way from Kota Bharu to join us.

The third time I attended this camp as a camper.

All I can say about this camp...

it was powerful.

More powerful than superman

(let's just pretend superman is like extremely powerful)

It was fun.

More fun than some Super Junior concert going

'shory shory shory shory neeker neeker neeker!'

It was mind blowing.

More mind blowing than fireworks at the opening of the olympics.

It was tiring.

More tiring than badminton coaching.

Ok I shall cut the boosheet.

But all I can say is that camp was like

OMGing AWESOME!!!

The worship & sessions were powerful...

What was mind blowing?

Prayer.

One hour of prayer before every session.

I never knew how passionate and blazed up cutting edge youth is.

We gathered to pray for our schools in Ipoh

They prayed for me as I was very sick. I was boiling hot!

So I didn't get to attend the second session and instead...slept off in my friend's room:)

The next morning Angela gave me an apple! It looked so red and juicy!

Like people say,

AN APPLE A DAY KEEPS THE DOCTOR AWAY!

I seriously felt way better after prayer and from then on

I.WAS.HEALED.

Thanks, you guys. I feel so loved!(not that I was never loved before okay)

As the leaders sacrificed so much just to make this camp a success...

they deserved our prayers of course.

The games were beyond tiring!

Fun part of the camp?

FRIENDS as I would call them...

These days I just see the same faces every year coming through that door but I just can't figure out who's who. All I know, some of them are my dad's cousins and...yea that's it.

So the tactic to get your red packet is just hard.

So here's the tactics I would use
When people come in...stand there and make sure they notice you.

due to my weakness of conversing in canto I would just stand there,smile and go HI!!!

Yes...you must sound excited.

while waiting...eat :)

I don't think it worked for me though.

sit with a bunch of youngsters so they would notice you more

If you're unfortunate like me, people beside you would start talking to you. IN CANTONESE.

Well...I did that but I think she knows I don't get what she was talking about. So i started hitting my sister beside me and she actually understood more than me!

So I gave up and asked Kennard and he said she's saying the wishes...thing.

Yeeeeaaa. I was clueless whatever wishes she was saying to us.

And that is the end of my Chinese New Year in MudLand.
